A Very Good plus copy with a small moisture spot to the front cover in brown cloth binding with gilt lettering and black ink illustration. The flyleaf is clipped on one corner. In the late 1800s, the author traveled from Massachusetts to Alaska just in time to catch the Gold Rush. This is his account of his travels and adventures with commentary on the native inhabitants, the Alaska culture and the prospectors who came in search of wealth and those who came looking for an escape.
