Killer in the Rain.
by Chandler, Raymond.

Publisher Information:
Houghton Mifflin, Boston: 1964.

A Fine tight unread copy in a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with light wear to extremities. This collection of Chandler's short storeis contains: Killer in the Rain, The Man Who Like Dogs, The Curtain, Try the Girl, Mandarin's Jade, Bay City Blues, The Lady in the Lake, and No Crime in the Mountains all originally published in pulp magazine between 1935 and 1941. During his lifetime, it was Chandler's personal desire that the stories not be reprinted. This was because he felt that the plots had become cannibalized in the process of writing three of his novels, Chandler had borrowed, expanded, and extensively reworked plots, passages, and characters from these eight stories.
