The Log from the Sea of Cortez.
by Steinbeck, John.

Publisher Information:
Viking, New York: 1951.

A Fine copy in a Very Good plus, price-clipped dust jacket that is faded on the spine as usual. There is one tiny closed edge tear to the top edge of the rear panel. This "log" is the day-to-day story of Steinbeck's trip to the Gulf of Mexico with his biologist friend Ed Ricketts. This account--a combination of science, philosophy, and high-spirited adventure--was previously on available in the larger, more scientifically detailed book, The Sea of Cortez.
