Mission to Mars: An Astronaut's Vision of Our Future in Space.
by [Astronaut Signature] Collins, Michael.

Publisher Information:
Grove Weidenfeld, New York: 1990.

A Near Fine tight copy with previous owner embossment on the flyleaf in Fine unclipped dust jacket. This copy is inscribed and signed by Collins on the half-title page. Collins was the pilot on Gemini 10 in 1966 and later the command module pilot of the historic moon-landing mission Apollo 11 which saw Neil Armstrong as the first man to step on the moon. In this volume, Collins offers a provocative plan for the American space program with his focus on a manned-voyage to Mars.
