A Personal Anthology. Edited with a Foreword by Anthony Kerrigan.
by Borges, Jorge Luis.

Publisher Information:
Grove Press,, New York:: 1967..

A Very Good copy with a previous owner name on the flyleaf and faint moisture staining to the bottom edges of the boards in a Near Fine price-clipped dust jacket. This copy is signed and dates by Borges on the fly leaf. Borges made this selection of 48 pieces from his published works to show in a single volume what he wanted his reputation to rest upon. The works include short stories, essays, poems, and brief sketches that are not arranged chronologically, but with an eye to their sympathies and differences. The result is not just a collection but a new composition.
