The Letters of Ezra Pound to Alice Corbin Henderson. Edited by Ira B. Nadel.
by [Paris in the 1920s] Pound, Ezra .
University of Texas Press,
A Fine copy in a Fine dust jacket. Alice Corbin Henderson was the Associate Editor of Poetry magazine at the same time Pound was the magazine's Foreign Correspondent. Pound believed that Henderson was the only intelligent person associated with the magazine and their lengthy correspondence bears out her knowledge of and interest in the poetry movements from 1912 to the forties. This collection is the first publication of these letters. These letters record not only an important period in American and European literary history but also the development of Pound's aesthetic and poetic voice.
