Donald Knox tells the story of the Bataan campaign, the Death March and prison camp life under the Japanese in the words of the survivors themselves. Over a period of seven years, he interviewed over 200 veterans; the voices of sixty-eight were selected to provide the personal side of the horrors and heroism experienced in these events.
